Recently I’ve noticed that I’m getting fat again. OK, I’ve never been truly “fat” but my I do tend to fluctuate between “super-fit lean guy” and “lazy, overweight guy who sits in front of the computer too much” much more often than I should. It kind of depends on my motivation and the amount of work I have to do.
Well, I have a TON of projects I’m currently working on. It’s getting colder and darker by the day (which always saps my energy/motivation). I tend to hang around people who don’t eat very healthy. And I’m getting ready to move across the country….
But I’m going to lose the extra weight and get back into shape anyway! Luckily I know quite a bit about fitness, health, and weight loss so here’s what I’m determined to do:
– Drink more water… MUCH more!
– Eat more fiber (from fruits, veggies, and psyllium seed husks)
– Eat 4-5 small meals per day, never letting myself get too hungry
– Drink one or more whey protein-based shakes per day
– Avoid nearly all sugars, white flour, and fried foods
OK, that’s it for now. I’ve used these same steps to lean down before so I’m pretty sure it will work. I’ll keep you updated!
