I just noticed that a major foods company has finally smartened up and started using the healthy, natural sweetener xylitol in their products. I’ve used a xylitol-sweetened toothpaste from Tom’s of Maine for awhile now and I haven’t had a cavity in years. But I’ve always wished there was a widely-available chewing gum with xylitol — not just for my teeth but for the many other health benefits xylitol provides. Well, thanks to a very smart decision by the Trident people, now there is.
Now, if only they could get rid of the aspartame, acesulfame, sorbitol…..
