Have you been watching this year’s NBA playoffs? They’ve been incredible! Almost every game has been great and several have been won by last-second shots. Just really, really entertaining basketball!
But if you really want to watch some exciting basketball, watch a Phoenix Suns game. They have a handful of absolutely amazing athletes including, of course, 2-time league MVP Steve Nash. I love watching a short, slow, white guy take it right at a group of near-seven footers and just light them up!
But Nash is just the beginning on this incredible team, which includes Shawn “The Matrix” Marion, Raja “The Caribbean Kobe Clothesliner” Bell, Boris “The Most-Improved French Guy” Diaw, and Leandro “The Flying Brazilian” Barbosa. Every single one of these guys has the ability to just take over a game. (By the way, I have a feeling that there are more Barbosa-like Brazilian players out there… and, when they arrive, watch out!)
Anyway, I’m not sure what the point of this post was, but I’m just very happy to witness this “re-emergence” of NBA competition and excitement. And the Suns epitomize it all I think….
