I’ve always hated rainy, overcast days… until now. Yesterday it rained in Vegas off and on throughout the day, there were lots and lots of dark clouds, a good amount of wind, and even some thunder and lightning at night… and I couldn’t have been happier! In Las Vegas rain equals relief. (Although, on occassion, the rain does get out of control.)
Really, it’s amazing how much a person’s perceptions of certain things change when that person is put in some sort of “extreme” environment. Las Vegas is definitely an “extreme” environment and, like a true Vegas resident, I’m already learning to hate (or at least really “dislike”) the summertime heat and constant sun.
Anyway, I’m going outside now to enjoy the post-storm weather. After all, it’s only 90 degrees!
