I’m planning on taking a vacation to Hawaii in the next 6 months or so. My goal, as always, is to do and see as much as possible, while spending the least amount of money as possible. Here’s a great article I just found about cheap Hawaii vacations to the island of Oahu:
They mention that Oahu is a great place for budget travel because there are more low-fare direct flights into the island and because there is cheap public transportation all over the place. Sounds good to me… see you on the beach!

A trip to Hawaii doesn’t have to be incredibly expensive. Of course, if you want to make it a high-end vacation, you can stay at a great report, eat amazing meals every night, and go to some of the best stores in the world.
But with a little planning, you can actually have a great vacation without breaking the bank. Eat breakfast in your hotel room. Plan a couple fancy dinners out (instead of eating out every night). Those sorts of things can save you a lot of money and not really effect the “quality” of the trip.
