I’m looking for an apartment in San Jose, California right now. This is the second time I’ve gone through this incredibly tedious process in less than 2 years. My girlfriend just needs a 1 bedroom apartment in the Willow Glen area, with a 6-month lease. So far, we’re not having much luck finding one we like, in a good location, in the prince range we’re looking for.
Besides Craigslist, there really isn’t another good resource for finding apartments in San Jose, especially when you’re looking at lower-priced options (under $1000 per month). Seems kind of strange to me that the capital of “Silicon Valley” is so behind the ball on this.
Maybe it’s time to start a niche site focused on apartment complexes in the older sections of San Jose…
